FARM HISTORY
The Herring Family moved to what is now the Calvary, GA area in February of 1836 migrating from Sampson County, NC along with several other families. The farm has operated since that time and has remained in the family. Always having an interest in genetics, H.W. Herring II started a registered Polled Hereford herd in the 1950's. Today, 111 Farms, located 3 miles north of Calvary, GA on Highway 111 markets Angus and Hereford breeding stock along with perennial peanut hay.
